This time again I had a trouble getting a good quality of manuscripts but I and the referees chose only two of them which could be judged as publishable. Here are those two, but they would provide the readers useful ideas and reviews on CALL and certainly contribute in the field of CALL. Judy F. Chen and Clyde A. Warden in Taiwan provides a good review of the application of error correction software in EFL/ESL research while Phillip Towndrow in Singapore provides his experiences on students' reactions to CALL in the Gulf area.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the contributors, the advisory board members, and CALL N-SIG officers for their great help and cooperation.
Those of you who would like to contribute for the next issue, please read the guideline or contact Kazunori Nozawa.
JALTily,
Kazunori Nozawa
