Scope of CALL-EJ

With a major focus on computer-assisted language learning (CALL), CALL-EJ solicits and welcomes articles and reviews on research and practice in the fields of computer-assisted instruction (CAI) / computer-managed instruction (CMI) / computer-assisted learning (CAL) / computer-enhanced language learning (CELL) / computer-mediated communication (CMC) in ESL, EFL or other languages. Contributions to second language acquisition and computers, language assessment and computers, applied linguistics and computers, and other related areas are also encouraged.

The server was shut down due to the annual blackout on the campus server. Therefore, CALL-EJ Online was not available from the afternoon of Dec. 26 until the morning of Dec. 28.

CALL-EJ Online was on the Windows 2000 Server at Nozawa Research Laboratory at Ritsumeikan University, Japan. Due to the change of the server into Windows 2003 R2 Server, the site was temporarily unavailable.
